St Mary's Avenue

Owners had just finished a custom inground plunge pool. They needed a deck that wouldn't turn into a frying pan under a North Shore summer sun, with grip you could walk barefoot on between the pool and the back door.

Built the surround on a deep base with the pitch falling cleanly away from the pool coping. Large-format slate-grey pavers laid stack bond around the perimeter. The deck edge transitions into the planted garden bed without a hard line.
