Oceanside builds need different specs. Salt aerosol corrodes anything ferrous; wind makes joint sand erosion a real issue; UV is intense.
We use stainless edge restraints, polymeric sand instead of regular jointing, and coastal-rated paver brands here. If your build is within 1km of the water, expect a slightly different spec sheet than inland.
