Patios

Our specialty. The central element of the outdoor living space.

Overview

Patios are where most BC homeowners actually spend their summer, and most patios fail because the base wasn't built for the seasons. Frost heave, joint weed growth, and sunken stones near downspouts.

What we offer

Process

How we
approach it.

  1. 01

    Site walk

We look at slope, drainage, and the condition of your existing driveway. All of that shapes how we price out your options.

  2. 02

    Tiered proposal

Design, finish, and maintenance options all affect the price. You get three options so you can pick the one that fits your needs.

  3. 03

    Build

We design and build to your selected scope. Progress photos and daily updates so you can track where we are.

  4. 04

    Completion

After the polymeric sand, you can use the patio within 24 hours. Our team gives you the maintenance playbook so you know how to protect the investment.

FAQ

Quick answers

Concrete or pavers, which is better?

Pavers cost 10 to 20% more upfront but don't crack, can be lifted and replaced individually, and let water through. Concrete looks tired in 8 years; pavers look the same in 20.

Will weeds grow in the joints?

Polymeric sand prevents most. We re-sweep and re-activate every 3 to 5 years as part of our maintenance service.

Can you tie into an existing patio?

Yes if the existing base is sound. We'll cut a control joint and integrate. If the existing base is bad, we'll be honest with you.
